We will ship our van from Los Angeles to Europe.

Then fly to Europe. Pickup the van, and begin the drive …

We will drive through the following countries:

Significant dates:

- Our vehicle shipped from the U.S. to Europe on 1 May 2008.
- Fly from California to Netherlands, pick and prepare vehicle, 24 June 2008
- Depart Istanbul, heading East, on 30 June 2008.
- Enter China at Mongolia border, on 16 August 2008.
- Enter Beijing on 19 August 2008
- Beijing Olympics end on 24 August 2008.

FINALLY:

The journey will culminate with attending the finals of Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Vehicles will be shipped back to Los Angeles. We fly back from China to LA.

The total driving distance is approximately 13000+ Kilometers (8000+ miles).

This round-the-world trip will take us 68 days.

Start: 23 June 2008 Finish: 28 August 2008.
